There is a way: end the corruption and privatization of government business. It really is that simple. Without the financial sector parasites cutting in on the action, it all will fall in line.
The reason why government has started to privatize things is to cut down costs, so how will Sanders pay for this without ruining the quality? Increasing taxes on the rich would just be a drop in the bucket. Personally, I would rather see a true universal healthcare system before free tuition.
If people improve themselves via "hard work", the GOP supporters are the lowest segment of humanity.
Making deals and taking advantage of those who have no opportunity to try and save, and to create a better life, is not hard work. Especially when the law favors your position.
It is hard to save and get ahead when interest rates are zero like they have been the last handful of years.
If you study during high school and go to a public university in your state, you can get scholarships and financial aid that usually cover tuition, sometimes you actually have money left to spare. I believe in offering no-interest loans, but let's be real, we can't just give everything for free, it isn't possible. If there was a way to give every American a Lambo without hurting our debt, economy or country, then I would be all for it.
There is a way to have more free stuff. The wealthy just need to "tithe" more back to the country that provided them with such great wealth.
Gee, if only there were some way of finding out the details of this plan. Too bad we'll never know. They're probably written in stone and hidden away in some dark cave somewhere.
The wealthy are afraid that, if you level the playing field, they will fall off the edges. They are much more comfortable playing from the top and shoving everyone else off the bottom.
I paid my way through my program at a public university, why can't liberals? They have an allergy to working or something? This isn't a rich vs poor thing. There are federal loans available for low income people, with very generous interest and payment schedules. You just don't want to do any work, which is your problem, but you want to blame other people. Good luck with that, I'm sure it will get you far in life!
Think about this- those who are carrying moderate credit card debt of 7-15 thousand cannot get a consolidation loan which will allow them to save, or to pay down debt faster. The available loans only restructure the debt and payment in such a fashion as to keep you in debt even longer. By logic, you should have proven responsibility by making all of the various payments on time. The fact that you have done this does not make you a good credit risk, it makes you a mark who has proven you will continue transferring your income to the financial parasites in the spirit of being honorable.

It's not about taking it back, more about stopping the diversion. I could write a thousand page book making all of the connections, but it would take years. Our entire government is set up to divert public and private monies to the top.

How about education as a right, instead of interest as a right? Who is the entitled here?
We do this by bringing our soldiers back home, stop being the police of the world, and let other countries be responsible for a change. All that freed up money, along with closing all the tax loopholes that rich experience at the moment will surly pay for the bulk of collage tuition. I personally wouldn't mind paying my own tuition, as long as it were affordable, no more than $100 per class. And even than for some people that still would be to much.
