Which leech class? Individuals on welfare or corporations getting subsidies and/or bailouts?

Exactly- While the minions go to his rallys and scream and shout for him we will see how much screaming and shouting they do when they realize their Sanders' tax liability!

This Marxist or socialist name calling is simply a attempt to discredit. Sound familiar? Instead of trying to talk down a good candidate why not tell us of all the good things the republicans have accomplished? Tell us what the republicans will do if elected.
"Obama did not deliver because of a republican congress hell bent on discrediting him."

Funny, I re-call him having his OWN Congress for 2 years.

Most people know Obama doesn't need ANY help in "DISCREDITING" himself. he does a DAMNED fine job all o his won!

The sign of a good leader is bringing your opposition together and reaching compromises.
Obama not being a good leader with no experience completely failed at this where Bill Clinton did a pretty good job of it.

Stop blaming others for Obama's failures.

Where does Bernie Sanders stand on the issues?

Sanders 2016 or Trump 2016 - Either one I'm fine with at this point.
it is very detailed. His tax policies are too close to a full blown welfare state.

He has me at closing the loopholes- Looses me at raising the rates.

And we all know taxes will increase across the board under Bernie. It will not just be on the mega wealthy and mega corporations.

According to the web site the goal is to balance the budget, not to fund a welfare state.

Obama is not the first president to deal with an opposition party in congress. Obama didn't get things done because he chose not to so he could vilify the Republicans. According to accounts of the dealings with John Boehner on the so-called "Grand Bargain," they had a deal that would have raised some taxes (at great cost to Republicans and hard fought for by Boehner). Then, Obama called at the last minute to demand more. He knew damn well Boehner wasnt going to get more concessions, so my conclusion is that Obama deliberately scuttled the deal so he could cry about a do nothing Republican congress and the party of no during the 2012 campaign. He's not a leader. A leader would have done what he could for the country instead of trying to destroy trust.

Whether or not you like Bernie Sanders or Donald Trump, you should at least try to understand why they are so popular amongst a large number of citizens. They're unconventional in the sense they are not entrenched in the established political games; they bring a new message; they both tell the truth without sugarcoating it.

I never imagined Trump running for President, but it tells me people are frustrated with how things have been going on for so many years.

I support Bernie Sanders because I see him as a compassionate human being who is genuinely concerned about this country and the entire world. Go beyond your fears and concerns and see what he is really about.

Where does Bernie Sanders stand on the issues?

"Let's talk about socialism. I think it's very important to bring back the idea of socialism into the national discussion to where it was at the turn of the [last] century before the Soviet Union gave it a bad name. Socialism had a good name in this country. Socialism had Eugene Debs. It had Clarence Darrow. It had Mother Jones. It had Emma Goldman. It had several million people reading socialist newspapers around the country. Socialism basically said, hey, let's have a kinder, gentler society. Let's share things. Let's have an economic system that produces things not because they're profitable for some corporation, but produces things that people need. People should not be retreating from the word socialism because you have to go beyond capitalism"

-Howard Zinn

Bernie is not a Marxist or a communist. Those ideologies believe in authoritarian leadership and no private enterprise. BERNIE believes in democracy (rule by the people) and private enterprise. Therefore, he is not a Marxist or communist.

Geez.
