Look, most of the people who post on forums like this care more about ideology and "what's right" than money. These are the true ideologues.

The most successful businessmen and businesswomen usually put the bottom line WAAAYYYY before looking out for "what's right." Money is their TRUE ideology. Amazon is going through some similar stuff right now.

I have a family member in Arizona who is as conservative as it gets. He hates Obama, Democrats, gun control, same-sex marriage, a smaller military, etc. When he needs some extra hands at one of his properties to help put in some landscaping, build a dock, or put on a new roof, who do you think he calls? The local unionized outfit? Nope, he drives over behind the local Home Depot (where some of the day-laborers looking for work hang out) and says "I need xxx guys for three days of work and I'll pay $xxx." The "help" jump in the bed of his truck and he takes them where he needs them to work and then drops them back off at the end of the day.

He pays them cash, of course. At least the guy in the video is actually paying taxes.
The fact is though that most Americans do not hire illegal aliens so what's the point? If the guy in the video is an illegal alien how is he paying income taxes? Oh gee, I guess it's with a fake or stolen ID? Is that something to brag about?

No one has the right to hire illegal aliens just because they are greedy. It's against the law!

It's not at all unusual for illegals to pay taxes. The IRS expects their cut, whether the income was earned legally or illegally. If Capone had paid his taxes, he would have died a free man. "Nonresident Aliens" can even get a number to use to file under, in place of an SSN.

Even if they don't pay federal taxes, it's harder for them to avoid state and local taxes, and they pay a lot.

Study Finds Illegal Immigrants Pay $11.8B in Taxes | The Fiscal Times

A new nationwide study on the fiscal implications of illegal immigration concludes that millions of undocumented immigrants are paying billions of dollar in taxes into state and local coffers, and that substantially more would be generated if President Obama prevails in imposing a new executive order protecting many of those workers from deportation.

The 50-state analysis by the Institute on Taxation and Economic Policy released on Thursday found that roughly 8.1 million of 11.4 million undocumented immigrants who work paid more than $11.8 billion in state and local taxes in 2012, even while they were living illegally in the country.

Most Americans don't have abortions, commit murder, or marry someone of the same sex, so what's the point in discussing any of that?

The point is, the biggest employers of illegals are probably more likely to be conservative than liberal.

The newspaper sent a team of reporters to Guatemala after getting a tip that Romney had hired a landscaping company notorious for using illegal immigrants. They tracked down three former landscapers who claimed to have been in the United States illegally when they worked on Romney's lawn.

One of them, Rene Alvarez Rosales, said he worked for Romney eight years landscaping his lawn, occasionally getting a "buenos dias" from Romney himself. Others told the Globe of casual encounters with Romney over the years, during which he had never inquired about their status.

Romney’s first response to reporters’ questions about the matter: "Aw, geez."

Taxation of Nonresident Aliens

I would never disagree with that.

I'm just saying, maybe it's time to start looking beyond the liberals for the real culprit.

Meg Whitman, the former CEO of online auction site eBay, had a hard-line stance against immigration in 2009, when she called for every illegal immigrant in California to be prosecuted. Throughout the campaign she held fast to her vow to crack down on illegal immigration and emphasized penalties for employers who hire illegal immigrants.

Unfortunately for Whitman, reporters soon learned that she had kept an illegal immigrant as a housekeeper for nine years. While the woman did have falsified documents, one of Whitman’s former campaign staffers claimed that she had known exactly who she was hiring, noting that the Social Security administration had continually hounded her for more information about the woman but never received a reply.

For a time, Tom Tancredo was one of the nation’s leading anti-immigrant politicians. He founded the Congressional Immigration Reform Caucus, ran multiple political action committees (PACs) solely focused on opposing illegal immigration and called for a three-year freeze on all immigration, legal or not. As a Republican presidential candidate in 2008, he also made cracking down on immigrants his top issue, but his candidacy was largely overlooked. Tancredo opted against running for reelection a year later, but has since returned to the immigrant-bashing business with a new super PAC devoted to supporting candidates who want to make it tougher to come to the U.S.

Those concerns didn’t occur to him in 2001, however, when Tancredo hired a company to renovate his Colorado mansion. Only two members of the crew spoke English, but he didn’t bother to ask about their immigration status. He’d previously bragged about reporting a 14-year-old honors student to immigration authorities after reading a profile that mentioned his undocumented status. When the construction workers found out about his views, two of them went to the press with the intent of exposing his hypocrisy.

Nothing there indicates that he does, or is a Legal either. Its a Propaganda Video. Look at the Name of the person who posted it on YouTube, and the replies there. Its there to fool folks into thinking Illegals are good people and Law Abiding Citizens, and I see its working

. ISIL is doing the same thing, and also fooling people.

These are the same people that Marched in the streets, protesting against our Police for picking up Illegals and deporting them, as if they where Criminals, like we owed them something and Border Jumping is OK, while many others wait to come here the legal way.

Its not unusual for illegals to pay no taxes either, and not unusual for them to suck more out of our system than they put in, with all the freebies they get.

No, Capone would not have been a "Free" man. They would have found another reason to get him, sooner or later. The Tax thingy was because they could not get him on anything else. The right way to say what you said, was that if your not a Notorious Criminal Mob Boss, Taxes are the last thing some one will look at.

And the truth be known, you actually don't have a clue what Taxes they pay, Federal or State, since many of them are "Ghosts" and don't exist in Radar range. We do know that they cost us more in Government handouts than we can afford to keep paying.

No one gives a crap about those studies, since no one has a clue as to how many of them are even here. And even if it was accurate, and they paid 11 Billion in Taxes, but cost us 30 Billion in handouts, where is the benefit? Trump is right. They got to go...period.

Well, you were the one who sarcastically insinuated he is illegal when you posted:

I never insinuated he is legal or he speaks English, because I have no way of knowing either of those things based on the information provided.

Plenty of convict labor available.

I say he is an illegal. First thing out of that guys mouth would have been a brag on how he is there legally and how he would vote against him.

Instead he acts pathetic hoping people will take pity on him.

Yes, if they are completely under the table. But if they have a lawful job (presumably with someone else's SSN or Tax IDN), then they are paying Federal, state and FICA taxes through withholding from the paychecks. Am I wrong?
