It's clear from that passage that Obama, to whom this person is telling the story, had no inkling of any of that, since he asks her to explain. Which means he wasn't even contacted when his father died, never asked to prove his claim, or else he would have known about that incident, and he clearly didn't.

Show me proof that Obama attempted to obtain a birth certificate in 1982 when his father died to prove he was his son. The only "proof" you post actually proves the opposite--that Obama knew nothing about it until well after the fact, because it's something his half-sister had to explain to him.
