You don't get it... that doesn't matter! What have the candidates that fit your mold done for us over the last 40+ years? Absolutely nothing! Nothing but empty promises... oh wait, they collectively left us 20 Trillion Dollars in debt with one of the most unstable global environments in history. It's time for a "real" change. Maybe Trump will be more of the same or maybe he will be one of the greatest Presidents ever. I can't predict the future, but what I do know is that voting for someone like Clinton or Bush will simply be more of the same!

So who are you supporting then?
Trump may not be the quintessential Republican, but he has the best chance of defeating Hillary and I actually agree with him on almost everything. He will attract votes from both sides and I believe he will turn out to be one our greatest Presidents. It will be a refreshing change from the useless mope we have in there now. And fwiw, I voted for Obama in 2008, which is a tough pill to swallow and ever harder to admit.
But you are cool with the GOP promising to help people just to get votes?
I am cool with stopping the handouts. I am cool with holding people accountable. I am tired of giving, giving, and giving some more. America is going under, and Democrats are promising more handouts. Where is the money supposed to come from? From those of us who work and are successful? It has got to end. If you want money, get a damn job.
If saying that illegal aliens should be deported alienated someone, good. They should be sent back to wherever they came from. Breaking the law is wrong, and anyone who does it should suffer the consequences. If someone wants to become a citizen of the US, they should go through the proper channels. It is hard to believe we are giving support and services to people who are here illegally. It is time to stop.
Historically, big business persons have not done well in the presidency. Different skill sets and mentality required.
you'd think - but there's really no track record for such a president in the past, is there? everyone was pretty much career politician (ie ex governor, senator, congressman)......
