He will attract votes from both sides and I believe he will turn out to be one our greatest Presidents. It will be a refreshing change from the useless mope we have in there now. And fwiw, I voted for Obama in 2008, which is a tough pill to swallow and ever harder to admit.

Post of the day here-

Trump's message is getting through. The voice of the barking dogs in the pack are being left in the dust.

How has Trump proven he can get the job done as a politician? Running a business and running a country are two different things. He can't fire people in Congress when they disagree with you, you know that, right?

True perhaps but would you rather pick someone who has done something or go with another politicians who has done nothing? Go with the odds.

Today a friend called me. She is a nurse in Seattle. She was telling me of a conversation among nurses at work In nursing there are plenty of foreigners, some RNs some nurses of lower grade. These nurses are foreign but legal, either new citizens or here on the up and up. These foreign nurses were complaining about illegal aliens. In summary: "Why did we bother to jump through all the hoops of becoming legal in the USA if people can just come here and collect welfare, housing, free health care, free education through college and be sought after as some sort of rock stars by liberal politicians? This conversation in the break room went on and got more strident as it went. Finally, one foreign nurse said: "I am registering as a Republican and voting for Trump." My friend said the room almost broke out in cheers.

The point is Trump appeals to plenty of people who are not considered standard Republicans.

Depends on what that "done something" mean. Do I want to vote for the one who builds high end condos for the rich or do I want to vote for someone who has been spending their time voting on bills that come through the government or maybe even vote for someone who has run cities and states and has a proven track record.

And they're all beholden to their mega-rich donors. It's time to get someone in office who puts their constituents first.

Funny skit, but I think you seem to be missing the point, but that is okay, if you wish to really understand what is being talked about, then I would be happy to have that conversation with you.
