I'm willing to respect people who vote for Trump. It's their vote and we live in a democracy. I will not respect people who vote for Carson. No one suppresses political speech and deserves respect, and neither do those who support it.
So you seem to have no problem with universities censoring conservative thought on campus. So therefore I have little respect for you

So the black churches are not full of Jesus voters as well? I think they love God as much as the next person....And the Catholic church is full, full of liberal white voters. You sound like a bigot....but not saying you are.

No government has for the good of liberty, and a republic believes in bedroom control and body control and not at a federal level. IE see the constitution.

Because of that

I will vote Rand Paul.

Rand Paul is for the flat tax, if you make under the poverty line you dont have to file.
Everyone else 14.5% which is everyone, no loop holes. You can still deduct yourself and children and that is it nothing else.

The more you make the more you will pay but it will always be 14.5% of your income.
I am sure Rand would prefer to get rid of the income tax but we have a budget issue and has to fund many things.

Federal department of education gone,
IRS gone
Department of interer gone

Less money for government military and less more for the domestic programs. All will be cut to balance a budget.
Many of the foreign aid is GONE. You want SS and medicare that needs to go.
You want welfare to continue you have to cut stupid programs and pork in the budget. Like an example is a study on Japanese birds more sexually active on cocaine. This is important over grandmom getting her meds.
NO NSA spying, no secret programs, no control of washington from corporations.
Medicare is not cut, SS is not cut, He balances the budget in 5 years.
Those in washington who dont have courage to stand up to the system have no business in washington.
We hoping he does move up in the polls, but he is too logical to get into the WH. I like him myself. I do disagree with him on cutting the military. They always cut benefits and weapons to the troops but keep pork for the generals...so just cut the military waste. But Paul is of interest.

I think he has earned the right for an inflated opinion. Hillary has done little to earn hers....

Agreed. Carson's stand on the Military is his biggest draw back for me. We could cut billions in waste and not sacrifice military integrity.

Sounds quite nice to the radical left. Christians don't shove legalism. And there are manyof them out there today.
I am not against Christ,,, I owe all to him, but
:

As Christians, Seventh-day Adventists recognize the legitimate role of organized government in society.[11] We support the state's right to legislate on secular matters and support compliance with such laws.[12]When we are faced with a situation in which the law of the land conflicts with biblical mandates, however, we concur with the Scriptural injunction that we ought to obey God rather than man.[13] The growth of the Church has resulted in a corresponding growth in our ability to exert political influence in some areas of the world. This political influence is not in itself problematic. Indeed, Adventists may properly aspire to serve in positions of civil leadership.[18] Nevertheless, we must remain ever mindful of the dangers that are associated with religious influence on civil affairs and assiduously avoid such dangers.

The purpose of The Carson/Trump Show is to distract the voters while the Republican Overseers manipulate the election to re-install the Bush Dynasty.

OP: Just by the issues you pointed out, I don't see any GOP candidate that would work for you.

Trump is my first choice and Carson is my second choice. Just giving one liners doesn't really give an accurate picture of a candidate. Anyone that is going to vote needs to read up on the canidates that they are interested in. One should check different sources and read more than the headline of the article.

Sanders is proposing the poor also pay a tax. Everyone pays. I like the idea of a flat tax myself and even the poor should chip in with either work service or money.
meat lol. Just because he believes that unborn children should have a shot, does not mean he is going to ban abortions. Gays? So he opposes homosexuality,,,big deal. He has a right to his beliefs and does not mean he will make it illegal lol. If you are afraid of losing any rights for gays...you should fear the leftist you vote for...they seem to embrace ISIS and Islam and we all know how they embrace gay rights....open your eyes.
Medicare is in trouble. Needs to be overhauled soon. If it means that younger workers are warned to save more.....then they should save more for their own retirement. It does not mean he is going to pull the plug on 60 year olds now. He has never said that.
do you really think Hillary or Sanders gives a rip about the people. She is one of the most self serving women in history. He is a redistributionist and will come for even your money...rich or poor.
You know, the poster you replied to gave a well thought out OPINION as to why he would not vote for Ben Carson and not ONE had a thing to do with race.

What happened to HIS right to an opinion? Only you can have one without race baiting?

By the way - he certainly did say he would ban abortions if he could find a way to do it.

Actually, I do. Political censorship is always wrong. The key difference is who's censoring it. A campus is choosing to do so, and while I disagree with that fundamentally, it doesn't effect my life necessary. I'm college now, and plenty of conservatives have a voice here. And I think that's how it should be; I even agree in some areas, like no massive government and that gun control isn't going to be as effective as people think.

Yeah, some colleges are censoring a limited amount of conservative speech, but it's confined to the campus. Ben Carson is going to use executive power to censor political opposition. The two aren't even vaguely comparable so don't feed me this BS argument about conservatives being oppressed on college campuses. Most just hush up words that could be taken as offensive, but there are still outlets for conservative dialogue in nearly all college campuses. Don't even ****ing try and act like Carson suggested doing something that's already happening on the other side. It's complete horse **** and you both know it.
