If you have thoughts post them.

I thought Obama's oepning was weak (so far). Stealing from Edwards and then busting out the friends card.

Clinton - Does she not realize that a freeze of rates does not solve ANY problems? This isn't just directed at Clinton. This is such a short term sickening solution that is clearly designed to gain votes from people that are in trouble.

Obama - Subsidies for people who can't afford health care. How is that going to be determined? I make to much for state insurance for my kids. If I made LESS MONEY, it would make month to month living easier because I wouldn't have to pay so much for private insurance.

Obama sounds a bit lost and bumbling on this first question.

I've got it on but am reading at the same time. Is it my imaginationor do they seem almost lovey-dovey compared to past meetings?

I think that's on purpose. Hilliary refers to the Clinton administration a lot. Can't blame her, her husband is still real popular. when I think of her candidacy as Bill's third term, makes me more inclined to vote for her.

Obama has one problem... he wants to bring "change" -- only I see no real platform. Hillary has one problem... we know what a Clinton would bring by way of platform ( at least she could steal her husband's if desperate)

May God Help Us!

We could use a third term of Bill Clinton. It might just put her over the top.

There seems less tension and animosity between them tonight than I've seen at other times, more talk of differences in ideas than finger pointing and 'he said' 'she said', something I'd much rather watch.

I think both campaigns had a talk, they were getting too much negative press with the finger pointing. After all, the Dems need to be united after the convention. Who knows might even be a Clinton/Obama ticket.

When they were discussing their healthcare plans I nearly fell asleep. The differences in their plan details were described confusingly and they are obviously ridiculously small yet Clinton and Obama managed to speak for several minutes. We all know that by the time the plan gets through Congress it will be different from what we hear tonight so why spend so much time discussing the details? All I want to know is #1 - is it Universal Healthcare - will every US citizen be covered?, #2 - how much will it cost my family per month and what will it not include (just a ball park figure and overview), and #3 - how is their plan better than Dr. Ron Paul's ideas (as a former OB/GYN) regarding deregulation/decreased Fed involvement in the healthcare industry?

There seems to be a significant lack of substance to this debate. Seems like these two candidates are very similar. Neither one of them has major exploitable flaws and both represent change and will help end the Iraq war. The debate hasn't raised any of the really tough questions you could have seen and quite frankly I think it is because CNN doesn't want either of these candidates to look bad... they want one of them to win against their Republican opponent whoever it ends up being. Otherwise I think you'd hear questions regarding Clinton's view and record of support of Offshore Outsourcing/H1B Visas and how to straighten things out regarding the US manufacturing base being entirely in China (and of course what Obama's view on this is as well).
