My point already is strong in a legal sense. The only problem here is your denial of Constitutional and legal historical facts.

Of the illegal immigrants who have lived in the U.S. for a decade or more, 45% own their homes. Good luck convincing a local judge, much less the Supreme Court, that the US isn't their permanent residence.

Your interpretation would get laughed out of court, just as Texas' interpretation of the 14th amendment was laughed at 33 years ago.

And just how did these illegal aliens buy homes here? Isn't a valid ID/SS number required for a mortgage?

^Funny how the invasion cheerleaders refuse to address this very valid question.

I know during the housing bubble, lots of illegals got liar loans to buy homes. However, when the bubble burst, the vast majority went into foreclosure. And since they were here illegally, many of them did a disappearing act never to be found again.

Then there are the illegals who engage in ID theft and buy a home, thus leaving the ID theft victim in a world of hurt.

Any illegals who own homes here need to lose those homes as they have no business being here. Period.

Stripping people of their property? Nazi Germany would be proud.

Right-wingers have an anecdote for every occasion, none of them believable.

What does "Nazi" have to do with that? IF we're gonna do things "Nazi" way: there'd be lots of dead illegal aliens instead.

I'm 100 percent sure that MOST countries strip the assets of illegal aliens before their deportation. Period.

While you're at it: go right ahead and call Jews "Nazis":

Israel passes draconian law on illegal immigrants | Middle East | News | The Independent

Although the law stopped short of enacting some of the most draconian penalties sought by the government, it has provoked widespread criticism from human rights groups. The law allows the state to imprison illegal migrants for life if they commit certain crimes and detain them and their children for three year terms simply for being caught entering Israel.

If they financed their property, they did so illegally. They committed fraud. You can't take a personal gain from a criminal act, which is what they have done.

Illegal alien fans DON'T think the laws apply to their kind.

If they file taxes with the IRS they receive an individual taxpayer identification number. No citizenship or SS number is required. The IRS number allows them to apply for a home loan. Most dislike being renters and want to own their own homes so they can build equity. Like everyone else.

There are people Trump says he would deport living in homes worth hundreds of thousands of dollars in places like CA. They work hard, pay taxes, including hefty property taxes, and their mortgages and have a piece of the American dream: home ownership. If he doesn't know that....he's not as smart as he says he is.
