"However, Mr. Trump has held several meetings with black religious leaders this year as he looks to broaden his appeal, and
it appears that he has closed the deal with some of them."
He paid them to support him?
You obviously did NOT read the article. From the article:
---------------------------
The pastor said that Mr. Trump had not made any donations to his congregation. Other leaders who are scheduled to attend were not immediately available Friday to comment.
Putting this in context, there are estimated 70,000 black churches in America. 100 is 0.14% of 70,000. However, if Mr. Trump has the official endorsements of 100 black religious leaders, the actual number of all black religious leader supporting him must be higher than 100.
But this is all academic unless Mr. Trump can win the nomination and get to the general election, and, let's be frank, no amount of black support would be relevant to a GOP candidates' ability to win the nomination.
100 pastors vs 40 million Blacks. Barely a fraction of one percent of the black population.
It makes a difference in the religious South and the Southeast votes early (SC plus 5 southeast states on Super Tuesday). Don't know if they are from the South, though.
Perhaps you didn't get the memo: Trump is wrongly accused of being a racist for pointing out the facts about ILLEGAL ALIENS and RADICAL Muslim TERRORISTS, not African Americans. You might want to update your selections.
You might want to get your facts straight. See bolded corrections above. Nice try though...

Never mind that Hispanic is an ethnicity, and Islam is a religion, so neither one of them is a race, which means the term "racist" doesn't even apply to Donald Trump.
This is yet another reason why I loathe American liberals: They love tearing down people's credibility with technicalities, but they have a ****-poor grasp of those technicalities themselves.

Not sure about Iowa.
But we have to ask how many of the 40 million African-Americans are actually registered as Republicans, how many would go vote in the primaries, and how many would vote for Mr. Trump. I am pretty sure that more African-American Republicans support Dr. Carson than Mr. Trump. Just because Mr. Trump has 100 endorsements doesn't mean that Dr. Carson has less.
