What was the RNC's part of the pledge? What if they are the first to break their end? Would, by your logic create a moral obligation NOT to vote R?

Actually the election comes down to electoral votes, not popular votes.

Something tells me that move will strengthen Tumps following even more. I am starting to think he could win as an independent. A lot of people are fed up with both the Republican party and the Democrat party.

That is what I'm hearing locally too. He could pull it off. If the GOP is seen as hijacking the process or dirty dealing it will up the chances.
