He's got egg all over his face about Trump and this primary.
Trump will be destroyed in the general election, and then you can go back to being a Democrat.

You are confusing the inability to predict who conservatives would support and why (surprising most pundits if you want to replay the tapes) with the good reasons not to support Trump. Again the mark of misunderstanding on most counts.

Also just FYI, Brooks has repeatedly admitted he got it entirely wrong when he like so many others could not see the support of Trump that has ultimately grown among the conservative ranks of the GOP despite all the legitimate criticisms, but none of that makes any of the criticisms any less legitimate! Same sort of thing happened with the rise of the Tea Party, surprising even the GOP leadership (and also causing nothing but disarray and dysfunction within the party).

I actually have a niece in So. CA. that is voting for Trump. Her reasoning, he might be able to beat Hillary. I will add, she isn't very political.

Perhaps Trumps numbers are low on that scale. But, after some time; everybody agrees with his comments - it just takes time!

You mean like his comments about his hands? Or his great wall? Or the wives of other candidates? Megyn Kelly?

I've been pretty well trying to ignore his comments. Not sure I'll ever agree with them no matter how much time passes...
