Yeah, sure, all successful businessmen file for bankruptcy for their businesses FOUR times. I also don't see where he could be considered a patriot.

And, his first ad mocks Obama (notice that Obama is not an opponent in this election - he isn't running for president) for hosting a screening of a popular movie for the families of military members. That is certainly a great way to remind the American people of... something.

Guess you miss the point kat - Trump was saying we need a leader that is going to fight the real war - not watch a screen one - Obama has been ***** footing around with ISIS for how many years now? You don't always have to attack an opponent to advertise that you may be the candidate to vote for.

Not a Donald lover - but you people must be afraid because he's the most talked about on this forum.

He used the laws to his advantage, that's what smart businessmen do.

Along the way, he managed to amass a net worth of $10,000,000,000. How's that compare to your net worth?

Trump has created countless successful businesses and created 34,000 jobs along the way. Some estimates say the number of jobs he's created is closer to 67,000. How many businesses and jobs has Hillary created? Oh that's right, Hillary is just another useless career politician!

Attacking the children of military families indirectly because Obama was hosting them does not in any way prove the point that he is the candidate to vote for.

Yes, he is the most talked about - which makes spending actual money for advertising seem a fine way to waste his money. Maybe he isn't getting as much air time as he wants, I dunno. But, the thought of 'all Donald all the time' makes my stomach churn. I may have to cough up a furball.

Donald Trump has created about 34,000 jobs - Sep. 3, 2015

Trump 2016!

Yes, used the law to his advantage, without any concern for those affected by it. A truly successful person, even a business person, would work to figure out a way to avoid bankruptcy rather than embrace is as a regular means of doing business.

He didn't start out penniless.

Lots of low paying jobs that he brags on filling with brown people. Think he will create a job for you? You may have to displace a maid or janitor and clean toilets in one of his properties.

  • Hmm. How do you know he didn't have concern for those affected?
  • You don't just embrace "bankruptcy" as a regular means of doing business. It takes court approval go go bankrupt, and in doing so, you lose your business. It makes absolutely no sense to adopt this as a business practice.
  • I can't think of anyone who did start a business who began by being penniless.
  • There is nothing wrong with being a maid or a janitor in a hotel. Both jobs are needed, they provide income, and for enterprising people, can be a stepping stone to something better.

I think Enigma83 would take slight offense at being named a liberal. I might add that I, being a liberal, am not too crazy about the idea, either..

Those who worked for Trump are often satisfied with him. He even fought for the unions in Atlantic City (according to a Newsweek article last year) in a way that helped them. Most people there are more unhappy with Icahn than with Trump.

Also, to another poster from earlier: Trump is FAR from having establishment policies. No idea where you got that one!

What? Can you quote that post, because I don't think it was me. But, I will respond about what I see as his establishment policies, since you asked.

Trump's favorite policies: he is the smartest, best, gonna be great, respond to any criticism with nastiness.

What policies does Trump have that would benefit anyone at all? OH, wait... you mean the ones that align with the generalized Republican policies that are to 1. reduce spending on anything that isn't war, 2. incrementally limit the rights of women (because it really is none of your business), 3. tap into the anger and resentment of folks who feel disenfranchised because the nation is becoming more diverse (and can't stand not being at the top of the heap any more), 4. celebrate/elevate big business at the detriment to the environment, individual rights, and safety of the population (especially food inspection and labeling). Yeah, those policies. All Republican establishment policies - and he has them in spades.
