It is true.

"On Friday night, the candidate who almost always flies home in his private Boeing 757 to Trump Tower in New York or to his palatial Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach, Fla., instead slept in a Holiday Inn Express in Sioux City, Iowa. (“Good mattress,” he said afterward. “Clean.”)"

This is a great reporting on how Trump wants to win it all. Giving up his bed is yuuuuge.

He will likely be criticized for that by the global warming crowd. Holiday Inns all over the country are leaving the lights on for Trump, in case he wants to stay there.

No choice. Humble Trump wants to be seen going to church and be seen putting crisp $50 bills into the collection plate.

It was because of the blizzard.
There were huge NYC airport delays Friday evening, he would have arrived hours late if at all. And it was looking even worse for Sat & Sun, so he was stuck.

Trump: "What's that?"

Lady (opening book): "This a Bible, Donald."

Trump: "What are those?"

Lady: "Those are words, Donald..."

LOL. This sounds more like a back hand compliment to Holiday Inn Express.

he must have been royally pissed - that he didn't get his way with the airport authority and had to spend a night sleeping in Gooberville, Iowa.

Why are you worried about where Trump is sleeping? The bigger question is where Bill is sleeping!
