Actually with Hillary, it's a pattern she has. She's always for something and then right around election time she's against it.

In your dreams.

They are both attorneys and well versed in lawyer-speak. It will be fun to watch.

Do you really think Hillary is going to try and overturn marriage equality as Cruz has promised to do (depending on who he is talking to) OR support a Supreme Court Judge to do the same thing.

Nope.

That's what people who believe in MEquality are worried about NOW. She acknowledges she was late to the party. Let's face it - no politican would have come out in favor of marriage equality IF they hadn't felt the public opinion beginning to turn.

Except for Bernie way back when. He didn't give a hot damn. That's why people like him.

BS. It is apparent that you have NEVER actually discussed this issue with a self-identified Republican or conservative, because everyone I know, myself included have ALWAYS supported SS domestic partnerships that recognize all rights and benefits of traditional marriage. We do not agree to redefining marriage for a minority class, but we DEFINITELY support equal protection under the law for SS people who wish to live together as domestic partners.

Just when and by whom was the 'official' definition of marriage coined in the first place?

Which is why so many states banned not only marriage, but anything resembling marriage including domestic partnerships, and civil unions.
