Taxes have nothing to do with the national debt? It's been pointed out over and over and over and over and over and over and over again how we pay more for our health care than other similar countries.

We pay more so they can pay less. If we stop this are you saying our costs won't go down?

The reality is they will require massive tax hikes across all segments of American society, including the roughly 50% who pay no income taxes currently.

Are we really to believe that Bernie has suddenly come up with cradle to grave financing for the American dream, minus only funeral expenses at no cost to all of us? Where the heck has he been for 70+ years?
Inside the Beltway, that's where. He's a career politician, with ZERO real world experience. He's never had to earn a penny in his life. He's lived in a world where you just vote yourself more money, because you have the might of the government there to back you up.

government does not create jobs, only the private sector can do that.
How are we to pay off our debt if we don't raise any taxes?

Which candidate is proposing we do that?

I'll answer. None. Since none are, what then?

And Bernie is the only one talking about arresting the bankers like Iceland did.

Until the electorate recognizes that it is Republicans and Democrats Establishment politicians working together to drive up there budget so that they and their Billionaire Cronies get rich, all is hopeless.

Your disregard for the fact that the Republican controlled Congress was totally complicit in the obscene budget run-up illustrates that the political revolution that Bernie is calling for is still a ways away

I agree, but where is this money coming from? Pres Obama promised to raise taxes on the wealthiest Americans and he had difficulty getting legislation passed. Now we have a Congress with both houses controlled by the GOP, so Sanders can campaign on ideas that appeal to lots of people, but he can't deliver on his promises. He keeps talking about a government of the people. My question is "what people?" Obviously he's including his supporters, but if most of them are people who want free education and health care, then they're not the ones who can pay for these "trillion" dollar projects, are they?

I was born and raised in MA by parents who were Democrats and usually vote for a Democrat, but Sanders does not preach liberal ideas. Many of his supporters are confusing Socialism and Liberalism. I can't help it, but a Senator who appeared on CNN with Lou Dobbs to discuss why Ted Kennedy's Immigration Reform was hurting the middle class and then says in a campaign speech 8 years later that we are "a nation of immigrants" and immigrants are "the strength of America" concerns me. Isn't he just trying to take the Latino vote away from Hillary Clinton?

By the way, I don't necessarily disagree with him on this issue. I am only saying that politicians say whatever will win them votes, even if their true ideology is compromised.

Oh, I forgot to post this along with my comment. Here's the interview in 2007 I mentioned.

Clearly not been paying attention. But it's far from the Bern's utopia that the people are clamoring for. Conservatives (including those dreaded TP candidates) have won big in the last election cycles. And they encompass both the anti-establishment movement AND Taxed Enough Already. Can't blame you for not noticing, though, since the media ignores anything that isn't a slobbering love fest for the left.

Are they organic squash and do you roast them? Keep in mind, you need to include the cost of the electricity. Do you have a pic so we can see what the size of the portion is?
