Trump is nothing if not establishment.

He boasts about playing the same 'pay to play' game as the politicians play, he may be playing as a buyer rather than seller but he's still playing the same game.

Good luck with the 12 million hearings. If we are going to depend on self-deportation instead, that would clearly take a while . . . beyond Mr. Trump's one term.

Not from me. I knew the GOP lost that election when they nominated him. But no matter, it's irrelevant to this topic except that you failed to make your case.

Mick
Have you not yet figured out that the true conservatives don't want Trump?

Think of the first President Trump speech before Congress (State of the Union) or other event after winning the election. He needs to become more presidential verbally.

I don't believe there is such a thing any more. Or at least not in any numbers to make a difference.

That part would be funny, I agree. Because many people realize it's impossible.

However, with any R in the president's chair, plus in the Senate and House would be terrible, IMO....

Because they would repeal ACA. This means we would lose the ability for people with pre-existing conditions to purchase a health insurance policy unless it's tied to their job. Even so, many employers don't offer insurance and self-employed and early retires and peope in between jobs and people without employer insurance will be stuck with no way to buy health insurance because the companies say 'we don't want you".

I cannot take that chance because I want to retire before age 65 and need to be able to purchase health insurance regardless if a preexisting condition. So I will be voting Democratic for that reason.

Also I am afraid that the GOP would take clean water/clean air and other environmental safeguards...back to the 1800s. We might all be in the same boat as the people in Flint, MI.
