Trump's refusal to disavow the KKK and indirectly linking the KKK to the Republican Party is just the latest of explosive mines that Trump has lasted down in this most unorthodox election season in probably 80 years or maybe since the days just prior to the Civil War.
I keep racking my mind about what he might be up to. He might honestly believe all he is saying but gosh what a brain fart! I understand that he is the voice of the anger of many working families throughout the nation but it's it possible that he really wants to voice the anger of the KKK? Even the Pens in France has distanced themselves from blatant white supremacists.
I am open to any theory about Trump including that he is trying to sandbag the Republican Party just to get billions of dollars in business when Clinton wins. Penn of Penn and Teller just describes him as an egomanic. Maybe.
No way - Trump is running because he is egotistical and being president is the ultimate ego trip; for Trump it would be like reaching Nirvana.
The Republican Party is destroying themselves by setting up the candidates to to take turns attacking Trump, despite his massive popular support, then forcing them to bow out of the race after they fail miserably.

Pretty much. It's on his bucket list, that's all.

The Rs have been welcoming the votes of christian crusaders and small government zealots, and making promises they can't keep. They don't keep those promises because
1) some never really meant them,
2) while those who meant them ran into a constitutional problem - they can't get the votes.
You missed the day's news. He was asked on CNN and MSNBC several times and he obfuscated in all kinds of ways. It was only after he got back to the office and he probably got it from everyone including his wife that he became unequivocal.
Now I realize that everyone has handlers and Trump doesn't want to lose the KKK vote, but c'mon, this really shouldn't require a vote among the apparatchiks. It really should be a no brainer, as even Le Pen in France has figured out.
