Trump doesn't know who Oliver is but he knows he has been invited to his show 5 times.
Gotta correct the mistakes in your sentence. It should read, "Drumpf doesn't know who Oliver is but he knows that he has been [fake] invited to his show 5 times."
Clearly you didn't watch the video. John Oliver confirmed that they have never ever invited Trump, not even accidentally.
John Oliver's response was hysterical.
"It was genuinely destabilizing to be on the receiving end of a lie that confident. I even checked to make sure that no one had even accidentally invited him and of course they hadn't. And I'm not even sure he knows he's lying. I think he just doesn't care about what the truth is. Donald Trump views the truth like this lima views the Supreme Court vacancy. I don't care about that in any way, please **** off, I have a banana."
I've been hearing this "Drumpf" meme a lot lately online. Can someone explain what the appeal is and why so many are jumping on the bandwagon? I'm not particularly a fan of Trump, but I think he makes for a striking figure in American politics and is refreshing in the sense that he's really stirring the pot in a way that has not happened in a long time. So is Drumpf supposed to be insulting, because it's his ancestral name? I just don't see why anyone would be ashamed of their ancestral name... surnames evolve over time, who cares.

John Oliver explains this in detail in his video, it is worth watching if you want to know they point to Drumpf.
