I live in Orange County and I've seen zero evidence of Sanders support here. I have seen some Hillary stuff but mostly Trump and Rubio. It's still heavily Republican here.

wrong. Orange county Democrats base supports sanders, not clinton. (especially the ones under 35) Not sure where did you go.
Sanders is already spending money in California for $$$ TV ad time.
But I truly don't see him still viable by then. With proportional allocation of delegates, in many states, Hillary won't even need to win to maintain her delegate advantage. And that's before getting into specifics of whether Bernie would really be able to win in diverse California when he certainly isn't showing he can do that so far. Texas and California have reasonably similar demographics and he was a long way from winning in Texas last night.
Irvine’s Rachel Potucek, who helped organize the event, said she had no trouble tracking down Sanders supporters to set up tables with their candidates’ literature and swag, but that staffers for Clinton told her no one was available from her campaign to attend.
“I was really surprised how little infrastructure she had in Orange County compared to Bernie Sanders,“ said Potucek, a 35-year-old who runs a soap-making business.
