I'd just like to point out: in a 1998 interview with People Magazine, Trump said if he ever ran, he would run as a Republican, citing Republicans as the stupidest group of voters in the country and stating he could lie to them and they would still support him.

Who knew Trump could actually make a statement so valid and prophetic?

This is a bogus meme. It has been disproved repeatedly.

No one has more hatred for Trump (or Cruz, for that matter) than the establishment.

They're control freaks and insiders who think they know what's best for the rest of us. If they cared about the future of the party, they'd have employed a little introspection concerning why there's such unrest rather than brainstorm about How to Stop Trump at their "secret" reporter-free pow-wow.

The sheep are straying and the shepherds are ticked.

They don't get it and unfortunately will not until election day when they see their large and bitter loss.
Confirmation? How? Do you have a time machine? A functioning crystal ball?

Well if that isn't the understatement of the year.

I'd be thrilled with an outsider, just not this outsider.

Have you seen today's news? Now he's got his supporters raising their right hand in a pledge of support at the beginning of his rallies, partly to weed out nonsupporters. All we need now are the brown shirts.

Great OP, rep to you. Trump may not be the best man for the job, but when it comes to true change based on what people want and not what the Washington elite wants, he seem to be the only man for the job right now (save maybe Bernie).

It's called politics..........usually nasty, corrupt and disgusting......was anybody expecting different??

The Oligarchical-Rulers from Doucheparty-D and Doucheparty-R are very, VERY jealous of their monopoly on power and control in Murrrca. So a guy like Trump, who is a political-outsider, is like the 2nd coming of Mussolini to them.

Good working class jobs were taken by people willing to get paid a fraction of what the previous workers were. If Canadians were coming in and taking all the construction jobs, yes there would be a backlash. When you add on to that that the same route that the illegals come in is where all the heroin is coming from that is killing dozens of kids a year where I live, that is not "xenophobia" it is fact.

So, at liberal parties saying, that all this anger is against "brown people" and has no basis in real issues is all the rage, but it's BS.
Well said.

All this playing of the race card is really just anti-white racism.

Only the government can do anything against the employers.

And it refuses to do that.

People who support him understand his personality, humor and strategy and the staunch opposition doesn't get it or they just don't like it. He is not playing people or talking down as most politicians do, he is expecting that they are in on the "game", and politics is a game. It's just with Trump he lays it out and the establishment just doesn't like that.
Exactly.

Trump's opponents hate the idea of America being a sovereign nation with borders it controls and people who look like the founders of this country having any power.

They just can't stand that!

They want to flood this country with cheap foreign labor and turn it into a Third World country.

Then, when that happens, and 99% of the people are starving, they'll complain again -- but never take responsibility for what they did.

No one is justifying what the companies do, but when they can't compete because other companies underbid them by hiring illegals and the government refuses to do anything about it, then they have no choice but to go out of business if they are following your high moral standards.

That doesn't seem to bother you one bit.
