Sadly she is exactly right. I was, and I guess still am, a Cruz supporter. But he lost a lot of credibility by blaming Trump rather than the violent thugs that were attacking attendees at a political speech. No better than other politicians that will say anything to get a vote.
He blamed BOTH groups. And those thugs wouldn't have been at his rally if he wasn't put out so much hate speech. We can speak our minds without being brain dead on how we do that. Splattering our everything like a blender without a lid is Donald Trump. Such a turn off. #NeverTrump

I don't think we'll see this EVER happen. He is a compulsive liar.

And, I don't doubt that Cruz would do that too. Those votes he is getting mostly come from that faith where women must keep their hair up, cover their elbows and knees. I guess the men that hang out with them have a problem with self-control.

What does this incite and why does Cruz be a part of this group? Would they be charged with inciting murder?

Again, is this hate speech which is a part of Cruz's faith? Isn't inciting the death of gays/homosexuals an issue?

This woman is an idiot. Instead of relying on leftist media characterizations of what Cruz says, anyone who is open to supporting him needs to look at what he ACTUALLY says, as these media people are habitual liars when it comes to the topic of Ted Cruz.

Let's have a look together, shall we?

1. Ted Cruz put the responsibility for the violence on the criminal leftists who have instigated the disruptions at Trump's campaign events. Here are some quotes of his actual comments on this subject below:

Quote:
We need to learn to have disagreements without being disagreeable. To have disagreements while respecting human beings on the other side. Earlier today over thirty people were arrested at one rally. And then tonight, as violence broke out, the rally was canceled all together. Now, the responsibility for that lies with protesters who took violence into their own hands. But in any campaign responsibility starts at the top. Any candidate who is responsible for the culture of the campaign. And when you have a campaign that disrespects the voters, when you have a campaign that affirmatively encourages violence, when you have a campaign that is facing allegations of physical violence against members of the press, you create an environment that only encourages this sort of nasty discourse.
2. Cruz denounced the tone of Trump's campaign, which has at times openly encouraged violence during his rallies, by offering to pay the legal fees of people sucker punching the criminal leftists who have infiltrated his rallies, and also in a variety of other ways.

Quote:
… there’s no doubt that a candidate bears responsibility for the culture that is set from the top. And you know, my approach … listen, it comes from how you view the voters. You know, Donald demands of the voters that they stand up and pledge their allegiance to him, pledge that they wold vote for him. As I mentioned last night, I think that gets it exactly backwards. This is a job interview. You know, kings and queens demand of their subjects that they pledge allegiance to them, but in America, we don’t pledge allegiance to men. We pledge allegiance to the flag. we pledge allegiance to the Constitution. But we don’t pledge allegiance to men. and this is very much .. each of us should be asking to work for 330 million Americans. And what I am doing is pledging my allegiance to you. And part of that is reflected on how you approach protesters, because if you are the monarch from on high, then protester is disloyal and needs to be cast out and punished.
While Ted Cruz and his supporters believe that Trump is right to stand up to these criminals, this sort of inflammatory rhetoric does not help. Rather, it just serves to inflame the situation.

This is the sort of juvenile posturing that we all remember from high school. "I am going to kick your ass!", "F you!", and other similar posturing and intentionally provocative banter. Nothing good comes from that kind of talk. And hopefully we can nominate a Republican presidential candidate who we can expect better from than this.

This woman quoted in the OP is clearly a thoughtless, knee jerk, imbecile. But just because she is, that doesn't mean you have to be. Whenever the media characterizes anything Ted Cruz says without providing a direct quote - with enough verbiage so that you can discern the proper context - it is important to hunt down the source information for yourself. And lucky for us, with the internet and Google, that is easy and fast work.

I'd say those whom planned the violence, crashed the party and carried it out are responsible for what happens. And the guests are within their rights to defend themselves.

Yeah and when you convince someone, who has the ability to hear, what was actually said as opposed to what you are saying they understand the difference. Nice try though !!! No one with hearing connected to a brain is buying it.
