Because he wasn't involved in the altercation to begin with. His entry into it was to attack someone.
I haven't heard that, if true, there could still be a justification, she just assaulted someone. Regardless, he probably shouldn't have papersprayed her, and surely, she shouldn't have punched the other guy.

People in Florida theaters get shot for less than that ...
You are allowed to help someone stop a violent attack. They don't even have to be a friend or relative.
You have to show that the attack was ongoing, and that the force was appropriate.
If her friends were already restraining her, the attack was not ongoing.
And pepper spray could be considered over-the-top since she and the innocent bystander did require medical assistance, whereas the harm she caused did not require anyone to get medical assistance.
Now we have teenage girls being sexually assaulted at Trump rallies? Whats next? Murders and rapes? This doesn't happen at anyone else rallies, nor has this happened at any Presidential rallies in the history of this country. Trump is a pathetic disgrace to this country and so are his supporters. Something needs to be done before someone gets seriously injured or killed.

She was in the wrong for punching someone, even if she thought he was groping her.
The pepper spray guy was even more in the wrong, since his actions involved innocent bystanders, his actions required his victims to seek medical assistance, and his actions weren't warranted.
If Trump's campaign wasn't reflecting a violent message and rhetoric, this stuff wouldn't be happening. It sure isn't happening at any of the other campaigns. Trump thug campaign manager is a prime example of who surrounds Trump - bullies.
The Trump supporters are being provoked by these leftist thugs at every opportunity. Then the troublemakers cry foul when the Trump supporters retaliate. I'm not buying the innocence one bit of protesters turning up at Trump rallies. The leftist thugs are specifically inciting a reaction.
He was a Thug. He went inside that rally for the specific purpose of disrupting it. You also left off the part where I said the party who punched him deserved to be jailed and charged.
Ho hum indeed.
Except he didn't bring any physical violence to anyone, and was sucker punched.
But interesting you weren't adamant about this "thug" being able to defend himself, as you are in this thread, since nobody has to stand there and be punched in the face, as you say.

But you buy the innocence of someone attending a crowded rally, carrying around pepper spray at the ready?
