Your posts are analogous to what the GOP is doing to stop Trump ... useless. You're delusional if you think most Americans want illegal Mexicans and drugs pouring over the border. Even the most left-wing liberals don't want their kids addicted to heroin ... get a clue.
I didn't conduct the poll, Pew Research Center did. I found it being discussed on the rightwing sites of Red State and Hot Air. Conservatives there are royally pissed at the damage Trump is doing to Conservative issues.

But I get it, you don't want to hear that people are rejecting Trump and dragging right wing issues down with him. So go right ahead and pretend it isn't happening.

Just another example of Trump's decline. His poll numbers are plummeting too as his unfavorable rating soars, he's even losing support among white males, his only base of support. Time is about up for the reality show circus clown. I told you all this would happen as we get closer to NOV and people realize this is a serious election and not a reality show. Cant wait till that pathetic fraud is gone.

What changed?

In a word: Trump. As one pundit put it on Twitter: "It could be that Trump has made the issue so his thing that it basically meant if you're against Trump you're against the wall."
My guess is that because the economy is improving, there's much less angst about "illegals" except among the die-hard xenophobes. FTR, the March jobs report showed an increase of 215k jobs and a slight increase in wages (March Jobs Report).

Linda,

You know dang well that that dad gum gubment report is lying about jobs. Obamacare has killed all of the jobs that the illegal Mexicans haven't stolen from us true, God-fearing Americun patriots!

You've posted long enough here to know the rules. Don't try to confuse them with the facts.

Not fair.

It's so easy to get whatever result you want out of polls, that they are almost completely useless for anything other than pushing a certain agenda.
I cannot help but note that Mr. Trump is the ultimate fan of polls . . . he's said so over and over and over.

There are other cultures that fill the non-assimilation bill as well ... the U.S. is going from a melting pot to a cesspool.

What about the people who are too stupid to know when to use "too" and not "to?"

The fact is that most illegal immigrants in the U.S. come in through airports and ship ports and just overstay their visas. A wall has no effect on those and the stats say more are leaving the U.S. than coming from Mexico.

Then, the complexity of the wall makes it impractical. It will cost many billions of dollars, take years to build; require the cost of building every seven years in maintenance; will require taking 1,000 miles of private lands away from Americans, etc.

Why don't you and the Dems get it that NO ILLEGAL MEXICANS/CENTRAL AMERICANS should be entering the country through the Mexican border ? Do you have a link to prove your first statement about most illegal immigrants comjng in through airports and ship ports ? Love to see it ...

Well put!

Don't you just love the invasion cheerleaders/open borders fanatics calling those of us who are against illegal immigration "xenophobes" (as at least one poster in this thread has already done)? They don't get it --- It doesn't matter where in the world an illegal is from. Nor does it matter if they overstayed a visa or sneaked across the border. They all have one thing in common and that is this --- they have no business being here and need to leave.

Even if the economy improves, illegals are still parasites who drain us dry. In other words, they take far, far more than they give.

It's long past time for that 700 mile wall to get built. The vast majority of politicians on both sides of the aisle are in the pockets of their mega-rich donors---most who want illegal immigration to continue for various reasons. Our politicians should be embarrassed by the fact that we have illegals who get deported yet sneak right back in not once or even twice but several times. Of course, they aren't embarrassed because lining their pockets is far more important to them than looking out for their constituents.

Yep, they point to one of Obama's success stories as more illegal Mexicans left the country last year then entered. Clown show ...
