Don't you know? I knew back then we would need this "route" on 9-6-2016

I hope this time people pay attention because I find the whole thing pretty disgusting.

can you link to anything showing a government investigation ( besides just bondi claiming that the donation had nothing to do with her decision not to investigate )?

It's on the news again because Trump got fined by the IRS for using money from his non-profit foundation to buy corrupt bimbos like Pam Bundy.

The government investigated itself, and found it did nothing wrong. Shocker there I know.

Correspondence, canceled checks and sworn statements provided by Trump made clear that Schneiderman had schmoozed the Trumps during his probe. Schneiderman’s organization repeatedly asked Ivanka Trump to donate money, to hit up her father for cash and to organize meet-and-greets with wealthy friends.

Ivanka said Schneiderman assured her the Trump University case was “going nowhere,†a claim supported by Trump lawyer Michael Cohen. Denying wrongdoing, Schneiderman portrayed the complaint as a distraction from his charges against Trump.

Editorial: Ethics copout on Trump vs. Schneiderman - NY Daily News
I give you credit for a main stream news source but that is an editorial not an investigative piece. I'm not familiar with their process, was this out of the ordinary. Schneiderman is an elected official, Trump donates to everyone, if he gained an advantage in NYS and Schneiderman dropped the TU case it would be worth of further investigation.

IIRC trump's camp offered up the fines without being asked/demanded from the IRS. read into that what you will.

I know. And he'll only have to point out how much he's donated to the Clinton family during the debates.

wrong again. i've never claimed it was "proof positive evidence of a bribe". i do believe the donation is suspicious enough to warrant an investigation.

Congress really ought to be investigating this donation. When were the phone calls made? where are the records? Where are all the emails and correspondence from that time period? All the people in Bondi's office and Trumps ought to have to testify in front of a Congressional committee.

I don't understand why they will do this with Democrats but they won't do this with Republicans.

Guys, you know I'm no Trump supporter, but he has come right out and said he buys politicians. He pointed it out at the first republican debate when he called them all out. As far as I'm concerned, that's on the politician, and our corrupt system.

We've all known forever just how the system works.
