I just can't stand all the protesting; I am afraid someone will really get hurt. This isn't the American way. But the good news, the primaries are almost over. Hopefully, after the conventions things will settle down and the candidates will not have to deal with protesters on every corner.

BTW I finally did read more than just one account of what happened: yes, it is awful, no I do not approve of any type of protest, not even peaceful ones because they too often turn to rioting as well, but when her started attacking a very popular governor and one that happens to be Hispanic there was bound to be a backlash. Please don't get me wrong, I am not saying it was right, but it does explain a little.
I have to agree. In this age of nonstop 'media' coverage, there is zero need to 'document' or otherwise support a statement of multiple source actual fact.
I want to say, Tell me again why rock throwing at police outside of a peaceful political gather is okay? Duh!

The anger toward Trump in the Hispanic community runs deep, real deep. As McCain said, it is more than he has seen in his entire political career. It could cost McCain his seat. Trump can forget about New Mexico. Arizona too could go for Clinton. This is serious stuff.

The scene outside Albuquerque's convention center was chaotic as police ushered protesters away from Trump's event and into the nearby streets.
The protesters had broken a glass door to the convention center. "There is no confirmation that any gunshots were fired, contrary to reports. Possible damage to Convention Center Windows by pellet gun," the department tweeted.
You know you hear a lot of talk about illegal immigrants being a kind of invasion force. When I see stories like this, those accusations start to sound less like hyperbole and more like reality.

The riots were organized days before the rally. Trump made comments about Martinez during the rally so that does not explain anything.
Illegal population is high in NM. Seems logical they are against the candidate who wants to enforce immigration laws and not provide amnesty.
There is no way you can spin this to make the violence and destruction Trump or his supporter's fault. Take a look at the professionally printed signs of the protesters and then google the websites who issued them. There's your explanation.
