Again, this article is not saying that Hillary compromised CIA names. This article is saying that the public release of the emails compromised CIA names. The CIA redaction method was faulty.

This is what the article says:

"In the process of publicly releasing the emails, however, classification experts seem to have inadvertently provided a key to anyone who has the originals. By redacting names associated with the CIA and using the "B3 CIA PERS/ORG" exemption as the reason, "Presto — the CIA names just fall off the page," Baker said.
But I thought there were no classified emails on her server? If there were none, no redactions would have been necessary.

She has been looking for a slogan and may have found it. "With Hillary the Killing Never Stops"

It is fitting. It is what she is running on and running from at the same time. She is a multitasker when giving away State Secrets or giving access to them by those without the necessary clearance.

If no insecure, private server in basement would the issue of blown identity of CIA Operatives have ever arisen? Highly unlikely, to no is the answer.

Was this an issue for Colin Powell when he had placed on his State Department desk, a separate computer for use with e-mail outside of the State Department? Highly unlikely, to no is the answer.

Did the FBI investigate Colin Powell? Never reported.

Information like this is passed on a closed government network, it's physically separated from the outside world. It can can only be accessed from the inside, e.g. Snowden.

You can't make up **** like this.

Thanks for the laugh, OP!

Hilarious.

I'm glad to hear you find the possibility of peoples lives at risk funny, this is not a laughing matter and the possibility that the names of CIA agents were released is very a real. The emails released by State have specific designations as to why the names were redacted even if there is no indication they were CIA in the email itself. If the server was hacked anyone that has them can simply look up what name was redacted.

Had these emails gone through normal channels over the secured network we wouldn't be having this discussion unless there is a scenario like Snowden.
