I'm sure he is in above his head a little bit. He is up against the Establishment, on both sides, which is the entirety of the U.S. government, basically. That takes some brass balls.
That said, we've elected a peanut farmer before. Think we'll be okay with a businessman from New York.
Yeah, ok... one who had been governor of his state. We've even elected an actor before, one who had been governor of his state. Now, lets think seriously about electing a reality-show star, who has chronic diarrhea of the mouth who has never done anything but try to buy government officials. Sounds like a great idea, one of the greatest, so great! In reality, we will all be as sorry as trump will be if he wins and realizes he can't just move on to the next fun thing for 4 years.

I'll make you a deal. If you vote for Trump this election, I will vote for the next two democratic presidential nominees.

did you forget that peanut farmer had been a governor before becoming President and he was a lousy President as well?.

I didn't forget and I don't even care. The government is really too big for one person to manage, is what the truth is. That's why we have agencies and a myriad of people that do all the research for the president. Then the president makes a final decision to sign a law and work with in the system and so forth. You're buying into fear mongering from the left if you think that Trump is just going to do whatever he wants. Trump has no office experience, but he does have cross-over experience in dealing with politicians and foreign business leaders. What is a little concerning is that, so far, that has yet to transition into more political savvy.
No. He wants to follow in the footsteps of Obama and become the dictator in chief.
Obama had every chance in the book to not follow Bush with all that stuff, to set a new tone, yet he continued it and even worse, forced social engineering on the public who never asked for it. He's just as much of a dictator. Trump has said he actually wants Congress to work together like they used to do.
If Trump really wants to win, why does he keep saying things that mainly appeal to his base supporters? He's got their votes, no matter what he says or does. To win the general election, he needs to get the votes of a lot broader swath of the electorate. I'm no Trump fan, but I do find it fascinating how he is conducting his general campaign so far.
Trump may have a terrible campaign staff that was built for the primary debacle and not ready for prime time.
I think anyone running for POTUS is over their head. Just depends how strong the head is. Whichever conspiracy theories you believe about Trump, whether he wants in or it was a "game" that got out of hand, it's irrelevant now. Here we are on the doorsteps of the conventions. If any of the other candidates along the way truly believed Trump was not thinking about actually becoming president, that would have leaked out a long time ago, and the entire GOP would have found a way to challenge him publicly on it. But they didn't, so what you read could be a bunch of hogwash.
Is Trump the best prepared candidate for POTUS? No way. Is he the best candidate to potentially get a VP and others around him to be a strong government business, and properly use delegation as he does in business with his staff? Possibly.
Just remember when you put pencil to ballot on November 8th what you are voting for.
