Yes, it has been. And we are still not much better on many fronts except with a much higher deficit and still playing kick the can down the road with many other unsolved issues that BOTH parties continue to not solve.

I still think there's hope for you old gringo. Now if only you got off the dem bus, I'll be fully convinced the progress is something really meaningful.

That recession was brought on by the housing crisis.. brought about by clinton's lax legislation.. then Bush wanted to investigate Fannie Mae and Freddie Mack but ole Barney Frank and loud mouth Maxine Waters couldn't stand that minorities couldn't own a home even if they had no job.. so they said everything was fine. Three times Bush wanted an investigation and the dems stopped it. And it hit big.. and today Obama can't create any jobs, the banks are still broke and we are more in debt..more food stamps, less people working today.. so how does it feel to know the truth what the democrats did to this country giving homes to poor minorities who couldn't pay the first mortgage payment?

Again, the fact that you automatically made the assumption that I support the BLM movement simply because I am black and posted a video that was completely unrelated to my post IS A PART OF THE PROBLEM.

You guys do not "get it". Not only do you not "get it" you don't even "get it" when it is explicitly explained to you. Its the equivalent of saying "Hey why don't you vote for us you stupid n-word".

I NEVER thought that I would say anything like this but maybe Donald Trump is a GOOD thing for the Republican party. He exposes the raw ugliness of the party's racial elitism and its unintelligent snobbery. He shines a bright light on it for ALL to see.

What's most interesting about those harping on trump about being racist is the stark quietness of hillary supporters/democrat supporters when she says what many feel are blatant racist statements and pandering to blacks and other groups:

"Nevertheless, it might be the way Clinton talked - and laughed - about the trial in the audio tapes, rather than her decision to defend him that people could find off-putting."

So where's the equal outrage by the hillary/dem supporters like yourself to this if this issue is so important to you as you seem to go on and on about it with trump? If trump bothers you so much and racist statements bother you so much, why don't such comments from hil bother you/why do you and other blacks support her and the dem party she belongs too? Many people see racist, sexist, and downright mean actions from her as I've outlined in many specific examples above.

Funny thing is....I never get an answer to this question. Really not funny....sad and most telling.

But please, enlighten me why when hillary, a democrat, says such things, it's somehow not a big deal and acceptable?

I am very moderate and even right leaning on some issues but I will NEVER give my vote to a Republican because they insult me for simply being a black American woman. You hate us. You insult us. And yet you don't understand why we don't vote for you.

Exactly this.

but, but, but...what about the two spunky black ladies on Youtube who love Trump and all the Hispanics Trumpettes claim give them thumbs up and high 5s for their Trump shirts everywhere they go?! How can this be?!

You know, your attitude of dividing everyone into this group by race/religion/sex to me is just as big of a problem. I have this insane view that we are all people/basically want the same thing and the more we divide ourselves into this caucus, that group, with this "special" need(s), is ironically segregation and the definition of racists in my book, putting race first before everything else.

So may I suggest to you....step off the race/self-segregation bus and think more human/we are basically all the same in the end and want the same thing, ie human centric.
You do realize men and women have different needs right?

I want men to stop making rules about women's issues and our bodies.

Also, black have different needs than whites, and straight people have different needs than homosexuals.

Educate yourself on things like the Gramm, Leach, Bliley Act, a piece of pure GOP legislation that led directly to the deregulation that allowed Wall St to run off the rails.

That lax regulation you mentioned was coming from a GOP controlled congress. Matter of fact, Pubs have held congress for 18 of the past 22 years. And THEY "control the purse strings."

Of course you won't get an answer from her about it.

I'm not at all surprised either.
