Although i agree that re; Dunham speaking at the convention (if that's true ... i haven't the time to verify) ... it doesn't seem like the wisest choice.

In the Democrats' defense, at least they're being honest with what they stand for by virtue of their invited speakers. Not just Lena Dunham, but mothers of Trayvon Martin and others who died in police shootings.
What confuses me is the very high percentage of Democratic voters who are not America haters, race hustlers, or insane feminists like Lena Dunham.
Good job democrats, good job lining up positive rolemodels and "A list" talent for your convention.

If they have learned one thing in right wing fantasy land, its that you never look at a pee pee in the restroom. There are a list of repressed republicans with a sordid bathroom history. I honestly think this is why they oppose transgender bathroom laws. They look at other people's junk in the bathroom, and they don't want to be fooled.

Actually, it was the part where she said as a young teen she used to masterbate in the same bed next to her little sister and promise her candy if she would kiss her. I believe she even said like a child predator, she would offer her sister candy. Of course I don't think she thought of it as abuse, but if a boy that age had done that to his little sister six years his junior, it would have been called abuse.
I am forgiving of children though. They aren't thinking through consequences, and probably never thought what was happening was wrong, just curiosity. That's assuming any of it was true, and not something added to juice it up a little. She also claimed to have been raped in a consensual relationship with one of the few prominent conservative students on campus. Then when the only one fit the description and swore he never knew her, she said she was raped, but made up details to protect people. And her rape didn't sound a lot like rape because she didn't even know it was until talking to friends later. Apparently the guy asked her to do things she was uncomfortable with, and she did them.
Despite all this, I actually like Lena Dunham. I enjoy her show and post-show interviews, where she seems so different from her character on Girls, and often wise about the personal growth of her characters. If she wants to support Clinton, I say more power to her. The media will hold it up as young (Dunham) vs. old (Baio).
little kids will experiment. No big deal. It was her lies about rape that make her unworthy to be on that stage.
Women that do that do great harm to those who actually are.
