Democratic National Convention 2016: Everything You Need to Know

Quote:
Democrats from all over the country will gather at Philadelphia's Wells Fargo Center, the arena home of the 76ers and the Flyers, from Monday, July 25, through Thursday for the Democratic National Convention, which will formally nominate Hillary Clinton as the party’s presidential nominee and Virginia Sen. Tim Kaine as her running mate.

This thread will open around 1 PM EST on Monday, July 25.

All other threads on the topic will either be closed, merged or deleted. This is the DNC convention, not the RNC convention. Please keep all comments in this thread relevant to this convention.

Default Will you be watching the Democratic Convention?

I'll just watch the 4:00 pm EST booing of Wasserman. Otherwise it would remind me to much of Nixon's coronation.

The speaker lineup sounds boring so far.

I watch BOTH conventions to see how much BS can spill from so many mouths per hour. The count usually gets pretty high, pretty fast. It's also great amusement to see so called celebrities talk about politics. Even former underwear models have thoughts that politicians are worthy of respect...how funny but how tragic at the same time. Let the Democratic Party dog and pony show commence. Not much different than the Republican dog and pony show, just different faces spouting lies, half-truths and other nonsense. It's all a smoke and mirrors game.

No way. My only interest is in how the liberal media reports this clown show.

Right now CNN is trying to push Wasserman of the stage. I hope she sticks to her guns. It will bring back memories of the 1968 Democratic Convention.

Treat both conventions as Comedy Central and you will be just fine.

No way, and since Bernie became a turncoat, not even he has anything to say worth listening too! All that BS would just raise my blood pressure.

Since the worm turned, I feel sorry for the protestors in this heat ,they shouldn't even waste their time.
