We can't expect them to stay at the Red Roof Inn and forego their caviar, champagne and wild parties can we?

Hillary has around $50M, why can't she pay for it?

Politicians doing what politicians do best. Fleecing the taxpayer for more then KNOWING the taxpayer is still going to vote for them to "fix" this country. SMH.

Sure. They have had a history of not paying their bills. This happened in Charlotte in 2012 also. People have a habit of not loaning money to deadbeats. So now they want to bilk the taxpayer for their drunken party.

Debbie Schultz is seriously an idiot. She should be worried more about he position in charge of the DNC than worrying about how to help Clinton get elected. She is a waste of space I can't wait to see the Democrats replace.

Bah..let them pass the hat around in the Senate and House. There's plenty of millionaire Dems in Congress that could contribute.

Red Flag is satire- fake news.

Here's some background:

Between 1976-2012 taxpayers were able to check a box on their tax return if they wished to donate. It was voluntary. In 2012, $36 million was split between the two conventions. Obama signed legislation last year doing away with this option.

Beginning after 9/11 the federal government provided funding for security for both conventions. In 2012 this came to $100 million for both conventions. Nothing has changed on this front.

Again, your source is satire.
