One could twist their words into that meaning...just as people can twist what Trump said.

The difference is Biden and Clinton don't make near daily off-the-cuff ridiculous statements that require definition and explanation. I don't think what Trump said was that horrible, but it's the volume and frequency with which he says horrible stuff that makes it all an issue and highly questionable.

Think of it like cicadas. One for one they all sound the same and it's not too bad. Keep adding them and the noise builds and builds until it's a cacophony. You are equating isolated comments from Biden and Clinton made in clear context to a statement made by Trump that just added to the cacophony. That's the difference.
