Trump definitely presented himself better this time around, and Clinton didn't.
But the presentation doesn't change the fact that he is mostly bluster and boasting, while she actually knows stuff.
Neither moderator seemed happy with the candidates, and there was definitely an angrier, meaner edge all around, noticeably more so than in the first debate.
Great last question, and great answers by both.
All in all, I doubt that this one changed many minds or converted anyone.
And to weigh in on the sniff - some people's sinuses swell when they're under stress. And you know that the candidates and the moderators are under tremendous pressure.
Oh boy. Paul Begala is on CNN saying women don't like Trump's "stalking" or interrupting Martha Raddatz. I'm a woman and when I'm solving a problem or otherwise brainstorming, I pace. It's an individual thing--it doesn't mean I want to do physical harm to anyone standing near me or the person I'm debating with.
Maybe there should be a rule that the taller candidate must stand stock-still, or else be accused of sexual predation against the other candidate.
One person don't make a trend, this is what I hate about those that say "well I'm X and I'm for/against Y." It's a general statement, non-specific. Are there African-Americans, Hispanics and women for Trump, YES. However MOST aren't.
Donald Trump was brilliant tonight with his scholarly command of the issues and gentle but focused delivery.
His ability to gracefully stalk the stage as a predator, circling the female prey, was shear genius and showcased his presidential demeanor.
Hillary, on the other hand scored the moment of the evening when she looked at Trump and said(With her eyes), "If Bull S#!t were worth a nickel, you'd be worth billions" and gave her Grandma smile.
Hillary hitting Trump on his taxes and not paying his fair share and him pointing out that her rich buddies do the same by taking advantage of the tax codes..
I wish Trump had turned to the on stage audience and asked by a show of hands "who pays more taxes than they have to?"
So what do you call Obama and his FBI/Comey, who all but convicted Hillary and then failed to indict?
Everybody knows she's guilty so stop defending her.
A corrupt and politicized DOJ is what it is. DOJ tells Comey, don't you DARE charge her so he came as close as he could and then did a totally unbelievable dance to make SURE people got the hint.
