He could do one thing right now that would secure his place in history as a great president. He could turn against Hillary and let loose the DOJ on her. He would be doing it for the good of the country, and history would show that he was right.

Then again, Obama is just not that into saving the country, so it will never happen. Even I would have to give him credit for loving the country more than his party or what he thinks is his great legacy.

Pence is not POTUS, yet. Give Trump 4 years and then Pence will be stepping into the position.

Obama will be remembered for his failed ACA and also that he did not support Americans. Basically, he will be forgotten. Too bad the first black POTUS wasn't Colin Powell, someone we could respect although there is wiggle room since technically, Obama is not black but mixed race. (Neither whites nor blacks have to claim him!)

I don't know..............that little 53% approval rating is pretty high for a guy "no one likes".

Pence does not control what the DOJ does. The stink we smell from the DOJ and the FBI right now came from the current occupant of the White House. Only he can make it right again.

All those would be forgotten or would at least pale next to the fact that he helped the country avoid electing a known criminal to the highest office, if he would turn loose the DOJ. He has a chance to be a hero to the US. At this point in the cycle, it may be our only chance. And to those who say she hasn't been convicted of anything, I say that if the DOJ were turned loose to investigate her properly and follow through with their findings, she would be convicted. That is what this thread is all about.

Obama could even survive any connections he had to her corruption if he turned on her to save the country.

The problem is that should he turn against her, he would be exposing himself as well. Corruption would be revealed from the top-down thanks to the Clinton machine.

His presidency in the long run will be deemed a failure.

His current overall approval rating average is at 47% and obviously under the 50% barometer.
