I think Colbert said it well. The left and the right had something in common going into the election. 40% of them were terrified of what the other party would do.
And now the result of all the fear mongering and propoganda of both sides is here.
It has me laughing my butt off. Watching spoiled children throw a temper tantrum when an adult tells them no is funny-at least for a little while. Hope they grow up in a couple days though-after that it gets tedious.
Yes, this is all nonsense. So, 70% or so of the country are either center right or center left, and want many of the same things - safety from terrorism, good job opportunity, being treated fairly, not too much Govt regulation, etc., and the extremes are yelling bloody murder?
About time the narrative was changed away from all of the social issues and back to more economic related items...
