His tone of voice depresses me for some reason. I feel like someone died. Is he supposed to be inspiring?

I really don't see how he can beat either Obama or Clinton. Both of them are already getting more votes than him!! I don't think he has a prayer especially with his WAR agenda!!

So yeah I am looking to see if anyone else out there thinks he sounds like a funeral director giving a eulogy?

If his face comes on my TV I hit the remote even faster then if Obama or Billery grace my screen. But you are right, he is a boring talker as well as pro war and pro amnesty and not to mention a bit old to be playing this game.

Another sign how boring McCain is that I don't think there were any reports of anyone fainting at his campaign rallies.

Well, they may not be fainting, but they may be falling asleep.

[font="Comic Sans MS"]This "funeral director" voice is how he started winning over the great-grandmothers eight years ago. They think he's still a young-un and a good boy.
I don't think the Hillary campers will turn anti-Democrat and vote McCain. No matter which way the Dems go - it's a big change and I don't think there'll be any deserters ... not for McCain, anyhow./FONT]

Well, I just think it's nice to see ONE thread about ..what's his name...McCain?..Oh ya, the republican candidate....seems like even the republicans just don't have much good to say about him.
He has his age and his looks going against him...so same-Republican-white-old-male looking type of guy

I think he's rather likable. Will vote for either Hillary or Barack over him but the GOP could have done a lot worse.

Hey! McCain is a nice looking grandpa!!

I'd vote for McCain because he may not be young but his hair looks like something off a newborn...

Seriously, I like McCain. He's always been the Maverick. If Hillary doesn't get the nod, I'm a McCain girl. He might be boring but at least he's not snoring....
