Did you mean to say hysterical? This year has gotten us a bumper crop of mediocre candidates who are either unqualified, take positions I can't agree with, or both.

Every election cycle it seems to get worse. I'll probably hold my nose and vote for McCain, but I certainly won't be enthusiastic about it. He's the lesser of three bad choices.

It will only be historical because of the lack of talent in the running for the top job in the world. We will all pay for the lack of a real talent to run our country at a time when we are being challenged by those who do not like way of life, our freedoms and our willingness to fight for what we believe in.

The economic cycle is easy to see but there are many other issues that face us that we need a proven experienced and willing person to do the job who can stand either alone or with both sides of the aisleways to get things done.

Afterall these people are working for us and not us for them.
We should demand they start doing what we the people believe is the correct way to do things, if they do not they are on notice to be removed from their job just like you and me are if we fail to do what we are hired to do.

My only fear is that we will have to go another 4 years without a President who has the ability to do the job. I am not sure our country can take it.
