Somebody should tell Mrs. Clinton what’s being posted on Obama and McCain websites and all over the Internet. I have read a number of slightly different versions of the following. It’s not the way for us to get beat.

Please be advised,
Martha Turner

We encourage all to vote for Barack Obama in this, the most important election America will ever have, possibly its last. A mathematical analysis based on firm science points to the so-called war on terror ratcheting up to a world war, one fought with nuclear weapons. For that reason we support Barack Obama, the only real anti-war candidate.

Hillary? In our opinion she is the all around more competent candidate and has been upended by Obama to a great degree because he is trim and youthfully enthusiastic. But before Hillary came Bill, which should cause you to stop and think.

The Clintons are textbook populists who achieve political success by promising solutions for people’s needs and fears. But there is a difference between talk and delivery. Recall Hillary as first lady. While America’s favorite couple sang a song of health care, they delivered on prison construction and a huge increase in the number of police on the street. The 2008 Pew Report makes clear that one American in a hundred is locked up today. To put this in better perspective, America has 7 million people in prison or otherwise under the control of the penal system. This is 16 times greater, per capita, than the Peoples Republic of China, where there is no freedom or human rights. Clinton legislation took America to the highest prison population in human history, a statistic appreciated by comparison to two other nations that were number one in their time, Stalinist Russia and apartheid South Africa. This is not to say that America is a police state. To misquote Lenny Bruce a bit, if it were a police state, you’d have heard about it on the evening news.

Also missing from the cute mouths of our TV reporters is news about another creation of the Clintons, the million homeless people that forage on the streets of Sacramento and Las Vegas and your own home town. This is directly from the Clinton legislation that terminated social protection for out of work families, a problem that may affect some of you after the market collapses from the cost of this unnecessary war and after the recession takes hold as massive unemployment. LBJ started the war on poverty. The Clintons ended it. Poverty won. Soon there’ll be lots more of it.

Hushing over reality is not singular to the Clintons. The media and most other politicians also hush the truth. Hush people actually come in two kinds, the actors, most of them, and the few dummies allowed to say stupid things as raisins stirred into the poison muffin give it some flavor. Together the actors and the raisins, the Glenn Becks and the Chris Matthews, spin the web of the American Dream endlessly. Caution: that may be difficult to understand for those so afflicted.

Non-TV reality is readily observed on public transportation where faces feeling fear and sadness hide it for fear of further humiliation and wear ugly funny masks of protective deceit. The corollary big hush is the source of this public transportation horror show, the destinations of all these riders, the workplaces and schools of America. And even public transportation itself has become abusive, the bus drivers all acting like bully cops, as everybody knows. This big hush of pained daily lives and the source of the pain is reinforced by the TV types endless smiling so all us viewers can see what a happy place America is, not infrequent mass murders in schools and from disgruntled purchasers of the American Dream notwithstanding.

Hush is for the future Americans will face too. The dollar is fast becoming as worthless as the paper it was printed to finance this war. That’s simple Economics 101. And the stock and housing markets will plummet to half their value one day in a blink, price devaluation being an integral part of any serious recession. And the 20% unemployment dip for five years will be duly blamed on the Mexicans by Lou Dobbs. This is all by way of telling you blue collar workers spared the misfortunes of homelessness by your industry that when you are out on the street in hard times because of Clinton era laws that destroyed the safety net for families, do not be so dumb as to think that these same Clintons are coming to your rescue.

Hillary should be given credit as an ambitious and adept social climber and a very talented actress, our American Evita. We have no problem applauding her for her personal successes, all of them markers of administrative competency. But we don’t need a socially climbing competent administrator. We need somebody to go against ruling class war goals and end the Disney air-brushed police state that has grown out of the war.

Hillary and Bill are not going to go against the moneyed class that created and supported them as their adorable political puppets. She will not stop this war. Yes, she says she will. And I know there are those of you that think that Hillary would never lie to us. But Bill said he would never lie to us, too. And he said it so well that I yet don’t believe he ever did lie to us about Monica. Monica who? That is how good an actor Bill is. And it suggests the significant possibility that Hillary, his wife, is also a very proficient self-serving liar. The net effect of her juvenile husband sticking a penile object, not even his own, up some college kid’s vagina was to enable a capture of the White House by the worst president America could have ever imagined. Doesn’t that question the character in the former first lady’s family?

And doesn’t what the husband did make you wonder a bit about the wife? Does any intelligent female over the age of 25 think that Hillary actually felt bad about Bill and Monica? Judging from the observable obvious that lover boy Bill is just Hillary’s showboat, one sees Hillary as a married lesbian, a cousin to Long Island Jewish housewives, a rather common affliction in modern day America. If Hillary was mad about anything with Monica, it was that she didn’t get a shot at her, too. Watch one of Hillary’s girlfriends surface soon on Fox News to clarify the first lady’s preference in you know what. And do not be surprised to hear the Republican’s suggest that unconfident Chelsea developed as shyly as she did because of child abuse. And have wire tapped evidence to prove it. Well, if Bill told you otherwise, would you believe him? This possibility is not cruel character assassination of the Clintons. It’s a description of America’s pressing problems and of the personalities of the candidates who promise to solve them in this critical election year.

Put simply, the best bet to end the war and thaw out our Madison Ave. police state is to vote for Barack Obama. Not for Hillary, who is so self-serving that one should not be shocked to see her team up with Gomer Pyle on a national reconciliation ticket, if that’s what it took for her to get power. Hopefully Obama will not be seriously derailed by the Big Brotherhood if their efforts to ease him out of the race with bad media and the well-timed Resko trial don’t do the trick. If he is beat before the true election starts up in September, I did run a brief write-in campaign for President in 2000 and would consider doing it again, just to keep some voice howling out the truth. But only if Obama is knocked out of the game. Barack Obama is unusual, somebody who will do good things and maybe even great things if he is given the chance.

That's appalling.

I hope that really is not coming from an Obama supporter, because its really kind of grotesque.

Independent is looking better and better.

While there are a few near correct points, it IS a bunch of manure overall and it's here to prove a point.

However, I don't know what the point is.

I don't think Chelsea is shy. I think she just prefers to stay out of the spotlight.
