That sounds like a winning ticket to me, especially against Trump.

The problem with the far right is that they keep espousing that everyone 'not exactly like them in lock step' is not a Republican. You are a RINO, or a Democrat.

The Republican party is pretty fractured, so I tend to disagree with that broad assessment.

I'm a registered 'R' that identifies as an Independent. There are a lot of us. A lot of us...

It wouldn't guarantee a Trump win. The way things look now Trump might not get the Republican nod. Funny you call Kasich a Democrat while Trump is the biggest RINO of them all.

We need something to unite us and bring us back from the darkness Trump is leading us into.

He argued to expand the wars......what is not moderate Republican about that? (though it could make him a moderate Democrat also)

I don't know how feasible this is, but the idea has a lot of appeal. Per the article, it'd be Kasich at the top of the ticket, with Hickenlooper in the VP slot. I'd prefer it the other way--I am a Democrat (), plus, I'm not sure that Kasich could fire anybody up just yet (he didn't really make a splash at the GOP debates) but I'd take this. I think Hickenlooper's doing a good job here in Colorado, and Kasich seemed fairly reasonable during the GOP debates.

This isn't a 'Unity Party'; it's an 'Open Borders Party'. There are one-world-government types that are going to shove cheap labor on us regardless of what the voters/citizens want. The rich elitist want to become richer and they are doing everything they can do to stay in control. They spent over one billion last election to open up our Country even further. They love to talk about raising the minimum wage; but they want illegals to steal the last jobs remaining.

If the Democrats ever want another chance; work for the people that built your Party. Work for the workers in this Country and not the ones in other countries! I will never come back home to the Democratic Party until they see the light!

In complete contradiction to what his base wanted. Remember Hillary was the 'War Dog'..

He's doing a fair job of reneging on his campaign promises- "Mexico will pay for the wall", "No more wars", "My healthcare will be better, cheaper"... Unless one is an ardent 100% died in the wool "I'll wear this goofy red hat to my grave" Trump bootlicker, the rest are getting pretty tired of it.

So is Congress.

The odds of it being split are high anyway.
