Something like this could do it. This would make the two mainstream parties shiver, that their lack of power would be vanishing before their very eyes Should have made a poll out of it?

I understand but with everyone clamoring now for a "moderate", Trump should be very popular right now.

I don't think anyone views him as a moderate, with the exception of far right folks.. Don't see that all. Nothing he has said or done has indicated as such.

Yes, the hyper-partisan behavior started when Clinton was in WH, and it seems to get worse every cycle.

I feel like this would be a very strong ticket if it were to happen. People are fed up with partisanship.

I disagree with several of Kasich's policies but I like him as a person. I would consider voting for this ticket.

No, the crazies run things for the Republicans as they've been pulled further and further to the right over the years.

We've seen this since the 90s: Democrats - slight drift to the left, with most of that swing coming in the last couple years with the rise of Bernie and Warren; Republicans - far swing to the right, with the hard right pulling the center further and further to the right with each passing year. Ever since "primary" became a verb, that's what has happened with the Republican party.

Let this be the year that begin to squash false equivalency once for and all. Down with false equivalency!! Down I say!

I know of very few people in support of that, regardless of political affiliation.
