Bernie is 76, and will be around 80 next US Presidential Election.
It would be very expensive to install a stair lift in the White House and the President touring the world in Mobility Scooter One will just make the US look very silly.
After Trump there will be Bernie or another espousing similiar socialist beliefs. Too bad really, but americans are really fastened to the fedguvs teat.
I love Bernie but he won't ever win sadly the system is set up so people like him don't stand a chance.
IMO, 80 is pushing for a president.
Agree. It would be nice though if he had an "understudy" that he was working with. Someone onboard with his ideas that were younger, at least no older than maybe 55, so as to give that person time to move forward before being considered too old to be elected.

Ben Shapiro (who is an admitted Bernie hater), seriously thinks that Sanders will win the Democratic Primary AND beat The Cheeto in the general election in 2020
He would be 80 in 2020, that's quite old. Not to mention the fact that a lot of Americans are against Socialism, including myself. I would not vote for him in 2020.

I think we need a young Dem to run, maybe Julián Castro from Texas?
