Take it from a guy who's a lot wealthier than you.

Must I provide a reference to show this is 2008 and there is an ongoing presidential election? Pick up a newspaper or google news over the past two days. You can be somewhat excused as since it's good news, it may not be found on page one. But they still must grudgingly report it, although with as much a negative spin as their editor will permit.
Like you said, an election year. Do You trust government numbers during an election year?

Of course you do, believe it serves your purpose.

I just have a problem with people putting all liberal or all conservatives into their convenient little boxes. Not all liberals want the country to get worse just to get a Democrat in office and not all conservatives are hoping that a terrorist act is committed so that people will vote for a Republican in out of fear. It is just stupid useless rhetoric.
I am getting worried that we are starting to agree to often. Not sure but I think we are both intelligent people who realize the depth of the problems we face and the shallowness of all three candidates in some area. Ouch thats frightening. We both are hoping to see and hear something that so far we haven't.
