You have a really great candidate who wants to help these folks and their families and they don't vote for him simply because he is 1/2 black and they are proud enough of their racism to actually tell a poll taker that! They probably didn't vote for JFK either for being "too Catholic".
You're assuming that anyone who won't vote for Obama makes that choice based upon race. Your assumption is wrong.

Remember, while 20% of Hillary supporters in WV said race was a factor, 80% said it was not. Since when does 20% represent "most" or the norm?

20% is alot of people that would openly tell poll taker they don't know that they are racist. And you can bet that for every racist that is proud to be a racist, there are usually 2 more that would never tell a stranger taking an exit poll that. I was just shocked when I heard that. I doubt that even 2% would say that in most places.

I'd be interested in seeing the results of that same poll elsewhere. Anyone have numbers on that?

Also, you said: You have a really great candidate who wants to help these folks and their families and they don't vote for him simply because he is 1/2 black and they are proud enough of their racism to actually tell a poll taker that!

Did it ever occur to you that "these folks" don't want a candidate who wants to help them the way that many Liberals define helping? What "these folks" want is for government to get out of the way so they can go back to mining coal or making a living with a small business. "These folks" are leery of any politician who promises to take care of them. IMO, that makes "these folks" mighty wise, educated or not.
