IF (big "IF") Obama was a MUSLIM, would you vote for him?

We do know for a fact Obama's family is Muslim, Obama's step-dad is a Muslim, Obama attended Muslim schools in Indonesia, and did study the Koran and prayed in Muslim circles. Whether Obama came to Chicago as a follower of Islam or not, is irrelevant.

IMPORTANT: I am NOT accusing Obama of being a Muslim.

This is a hypothetical scenario for polling purposes only.

But if Obama did indeed happened to be a Muslim, would you vote for him???

Fun2Day, you really would enjoy those New Yorker articles. They're not puff pieces by any means.

Yes I would the same as I would a Christian, a Catholic or a Jew- and that is that they will not allow their personal religious beliefs into public policy. If they can do that, I don't care what religion they are or even if they are religious.

If McCain was a Muslim would you vote for him?

IF you're NOT accusing Obama of being Muslim ...why did you ignore McCain.....?

Biased but somewhat cleverly worded poll. I would vote for Obama if he were Muslim but not "no matter what." There are worst things in this world than being a Muslim, like being a guy who got everywhere he is because he was born into a family of admirals, and left his crippled wife for his younger mistress.

I would vote for Obama if he was the right candidate with not a care of his religion, I wish he were a agonistic or and atheist.

However, I am tired of the 'Christian Criteria' and I was raised a Catholic.

I find it funny that in light of Phil Gramm McCain was 6% behind two weeks ago and now he is only 3% behind. Obama change that has fizzled out and died...

Being a Muslim would not be the reason that I wouldn't vote for him. I couldn't vote in your poll because you didn't have this option. I know that he's a Christian and I'm not voting for him.
