I hate to admit it but I am almost as old as McCain. My friends (same age) regularly communicate via email. I do almost all my shopping on the internet as well as searching for information on a variety of topics. I regularly bid on items on ebay and have a Paypal account. I have never seen it anywhere but from Obama supporters that McCain doesn't use a computer and even if true where does that translate to his being "unable to learn". Saying this about older people is as objectionable as saying that Blacks don't have the intelligence to learn to use a computer.
Just like saying all Whites do not know how to dance nor clap their hands to the beat!!
Any President that can't even open up an email is deficient. Is he supposed to get an aide top secret clearance ...just so he can open up his laptop for him.
"Here Mr. President - click on the left part of the mouse to open up the Urgent flaming message from Israel. Well done sir!"
Let's not get into what they do/don't know.
Al qaeda being trained in Iran?
Concerns about the nonexistent state of Czeckoslavakia?
"I know nothing about the economy"?
Scary stuff.
He has said that he read blogs, e-mails, and drudge regularly - he just doesn't use e-mail as a personal way of communication. It's not like the President really needs to be able to do that anyways, with the staff that they keep around.
The Al-qaida and Czech gaffs are just that - gaffs. Should we start going through all of the gaffs that have been made by every candidate over the last year?
And, once again - the economy. Words being twisted and taken out of context. He has said he is stronger in foreign affairs than he is the economy - he has never said, "I know nothing about the economy."

He does not use email to correspond? This is 2008.
What is he using, carrier pigeons?
The al-qaeda and czech gaffes are repeated gaffes multiple times, and much more worrisome in their nature because according to Mccain - foreign policy is his "strong suit".
And he did say he is weak in economics and needs to be more educated on the subject. Check it out on youtube, completely "in context".

He's in constant contact with everybody he needs to be via phone and reads his daughters blog regularly. He doesn't feel that he needs to communicate with e-mail. Sounds reasonable to me - though, I personally could not get by without e-mail.
Obama continues to think there are platoons of Marines guarding our Embassies around the world. That better or worse than still referring to the Checkoslovakia.
There is a big difference between your comment that he "knows nothing about the economy" and saying that he needs to become better versed on the subject. Just like there is a big difference between dragging the war out for 100 years and potentially having troops on the ground on a peaceful mission in the long-term.
george washington didn't have his teeth and I think history has judged him well. after all, he is on the "1" isn't he?
Hey I am hoping I have all of mine in a few more years when I reach his age. I am not that far behind. I try to do a fair amount of satire on here and don't let a lot of this get me as being the future of America. However I don't know about you but this Phil Gramm and the soft porn money has me going WTF? Didn't he think it would come out and be sorta awkward?
