My comment wasn't about the song. My comment was about what will sway the undecideds. Considering the black community is walking in lock step and voting for Obama, that means most of the undecideds are probably white or latino. Issues like the Ludacris song will not play well with these undecideds and push them further away from Obama.

Obama has his work cut for him to convince middle class whites and women to vote for him.

Should John McCain name a woman as VP (seems there is a rumor), that could clinch the undecideds and send Obama a loss.

Can you post a link that says the black community is walking in lock step? Isn't a prison term? Are you equating the black communtiy to prisoners?

Lockstep marching was a characteristic trait of American prisons of the 19th century.[1]
And once again; any one who decides NOT to vote for Obama based on a song that he didn't write or endorse, didn't want to vote for him in the first place.

"I agree with his some of his stances and I like some of his ideas but that Ludacris song...boy that sure rubbed me the wrong way." Most of the people who I know that are saying that are undecided are the ones who are spending more time looking at the actual issues and what each candidate can bring to the plate. The one’s that are all up in arms about this song made their mind up a long time ago.

With 90% to 95% of black people voting for Obama, then apparently Obama is holding them captive. OR there is very little personal decision making going on. OR black racism is showing itself.

Lock step:
"referring to synchronous or imitating movement or other behavior, following something or someone ("in lockstep with..."), often with a pejorative gist."

Can you say "chip"?
