This is the same thread Upton started. "McCain plagiarized cross in the sand story".

Do you know what "plagiarized" means?

Interesting video. This would be the second time there's been either a claim, or insinuation of plagiarism levied against Senator McCain. This instance was spoken to a National Audience....I wonder if the explanation will be delivered to a National Audience.

Why should he not steal something as simple as a story, when he was involved with Silverado and was the only member of the Keating Five who was not jailed?

He cheating on his first wife with Cindy, a drug addict.

Yeah, what a president he would make!

This has been debunked by the biographer of the author in question.

I think you guys on the kook-left should continue to spin this story. It should work well for a tortured war hero who the left-wing, like moveon, mMoore, dailykos like to savage.

Lightbulb ***

The only people it's been debunked by are Republicans, of course.
Solzenitzen's story is true. McCain's is not.

Kerby's only news source is You Tube.

Every post he authors, cites You Tube.

This guy has no credibility.

Maybe this was just another one of his senior moments? Seriously, I do not think McCain's experience in the POW camp qualifies him to be our president in any way, but his stories are poignant and I can't imagine going through what he endured. I hope he didn't borrow this story, figuring no one could really question him, in order to garner our sympathy and vote. I do know that the more a person tells a story/lie it becomes more and more real to that person...maybe he really does think it happened that way. I'm sure his memories of that time are fractured and confused in order to "protect" himself from the horrible conditions.
