Exactly.

The fact of the matter is that Obama didn't immediately provide all evidence supporting his American birth and citizenship because he quickly determined that the morons who were doing the questioning were not of any importance (except to themselves, in their own minds) and thus did not warrant any of his time to debunk their ridiculous and obviously idiotic claims. Simple as that.

McCain is eligible to be president.

Obama is eligible to be president.

Can we move on?

Not necessarily. Her campaign team may have decided it was a bad strategy. She had a hard enough time not getting hammered with the race card.

visit factcheck.org and you will see that they have examined his birth certificate and deemed it valid. They researched further and found that it is authentic and even found a birth announcement in the Honolulu newspaper.

We need to be truthful. They examined a birth certificate he presented, not the actual birth certificate on file. Let's not mislead people as things are bad enough as it is.

Again, let's be truthful. They didn't find a birth announcement, but someone claiming to be a "pro-Hillary blogger" did.

The links for the newspaper item and the blogger are dead.

Looking at the newspaper, I have a problem with the font used. The standard font was courier in the 1950s and 1960s, although headlines were often in sans serif fonts (shades of 60 Minutes and their using the wrong fonts etc).

I couldn't find any images on the web of the Honolulu Advertiser from the 1960s to compare fonts. This from the present, but not relevant to our discussion.
