The McCain family has also been very closed mouth about their son fighting over seas. Theare are reasons for things sometimes...and as one other person pointed out, is it possible that the daughter doesnt want to be a focus of attention?

What are you talking about?

Nobody "pushed" Palin's daughter into the spotlight until Palin was forced to combat smears that her youngest son was actually the illigitimate baby of her daughter.

The only ones "keeping" Palin's daughter in the spotlight now are handringing democrats, suddenly so "concerned" about the girl (not so worried when she was being called a ***** whose mother had to fake a pregnancy to protect, mind you).

If Bridgette McCain wants to stay out of the spotlight, so be it. Why should Bridgette McCain be an issue? Do Democrats want to drag up some dirt on her too?

Sorry Nicole, it was not aimed at you as your question was perfectly fine, just the direction the post quickly headed. I should have mentioned that in my post.

LOL, do you REALLY think the 17 yo wants to be in the spotlight? Very few pregnant teens WANT to be pregnant, and I'm sure even fewer want to be in the spotlight for it.

She's an issue simply b/c she's his child, just as Malia and Natasha are issues b/c they're Obama's daughters. Just as Chelsea was an issue b/c of her parents, the Bush twins b/c of their dad and granddad. Calm down, sheesh.

McCain and Palin want to tell my family we can't have an abortion if we choose to.

McCain and Palin want to tell my kids who and who they can't marry.

McCain and Palin would say to my kids if they turn out to be gay that they cannot adopt.

And we're supposed to just take this and not question their parental history?

See how the "Family Values" are working for them??

Nope. Sorry. I intend to get all their adultery, sex outside of marraige, estrainged children, broken relationships, shotgun marraiges out in the open.

Maybe then the GOP will stop lecturing me how to live my life.

I don't know maybe she is an adult and doesn't want to be in the spotlight. DUHHHH I have seen pics of her with her parents before. You know there are alot of older kids that have a choice and choose not to be thrown into the spotlight.

No. There is no "issue" until people MAKE the kids an "issue."

This topic is flawed at its inception that it's "unfair" that Britsol is an "issue," but Bridget McCain is not an "issue" is ridiculous.

Bridget McCain was an "issue" in 2000, when smear mongers tried to say McCain had an illigitimate black daughter with a hooker. Maybe, given Democrats' behavior this election in being left wing versions of Republicans at their most vile circa 2003-2004, McCain has learned a lesson, and wants to KEEP his daughter a "non issue." And thank god, because we've already had Palin's DOWN SYNDROME BABY AND her eldest daughter attacked by those fauxgressive Democrats within days. Ya know, by the same people who claim to be enamoured by the "new politics of hope and change."

Get out in the open how Family Values are working for them??
It's called 'all up in your face' values, aka, conservative values...
